Whos's into underground electronica ?
Anyone....?
All i can say is using a X2 , and playing your own playlists on Winamp, with sound-effects only on GW, is just a damn special experience!.
As you probably guessed from the title of the post, wanting to know how many electronica fan's we got floating around GW ?. If so what do you listen to ?
Myself ? think : The orb, Kompakt Germany, Warp Records, Tresor, City Centre Offices, Autechre....... e,t,c you get the idea im sure

Been listening to more poppie music lately (Belle&Sebastian, Kings of convenience, postal service, that kinda stuff)
But when I listen to electronics it's usually the IDM kind of music like: Aphex Twin, Autechre, mu-ziq, dntel, ambidextrous, squarepusher, boards of canada, Brothomstates and mum (<3) !
I allso like goa/psytrance/ambient music.

I make all that shit, but I wont spam here again. LOL Pm me if interested in hearing it.
Also, if anyone here wants an unlimited supply of music, go to shoutcast.com, and install winamp streamripper (freeware). I turn that thing on, tell it not to rip over 14 gigs, then go to bed. When I come back, I have 14 gigs of random shit from whatever station I was tuning in to. Kinda neat to find boards of canada songs I never heard of sitting there.
lol..

I'm fond of underground... I listen to BBC Radio 1's underground music shows a lot from their website. They keep recordings for a week, so it's quite handy when I'm at work and want to hear something new.
link to Radio 1
Mary Anne Hobbs' show (The Breezeblock) I like a lot, and I listen to Annie Mac, sometimes Fabio and Grooverider, and One World. There's all sorts... they give play lists of what they play if want the info on something you like. It's the main way I discover new music, it's sweet.
link to the shows Just click a show and it'll play. Easy peasy, and free too!
Enjoy.
edit: oh yeah, how does everyone else find their music? I want to listen to more stuff!

top stuff
usually electronica refer's to IDM.....or in some cases ALL genres of dance music. Just another name really for electronic music really
BTW: Monolakes newy "Polygon Cities" is actually REALLY damn good!, lot more upbeat/playful then previous albums!, really digging it!. Recommended!
Was bit let down with BOC's newy "The campfire Headphase"....
Good sites for News and Reviews
www.pitchforkmedia.com (other music styles covered too)
and the BBC Radio 1 site Cirian mentioned above.

nice!
Doesn't MUM's lead vocalist sound like Bjork sucking on a helium balloon lol, they changed their sound dramatically though recent album or something it seems.
BOC! *bow*....... well i would have, until recent album lol. still hasn't grown on me.
Ambient is the best!, think i would go loopy without it lol
